Show a quiz on a PowerPoint slide

Put the join code and live results on a slide, so the room only has one screen to look at.

Steps

Understand what goes on the slide
The slide shows your session LIVE — the join code first, then results as people answer. The quiz itself is not stored in the deck, and the deck does not control the quiz. You still run it from your laptop.
Install the add-in once
Download the manifest from the PowerPoint page in your account, then in PowerPoint open the Insert tab, find Add-ins, and choose the option to upload your own add-in from a file. The exact wording varies by version.
Put a tile on each slide that needs one
Insert the add-in on every slide where you want the room to see something, and resize it to fill the area you want it to occupy.
Connect it to your session and save
Start your session, then type its seven-digit code into the tile once. Save the deck — the code is saved with it, so reopening the file for the real run does not need typing it again.
Open each quiz as you reach its slide
Every tile shows whichever question is currently live, so you do not connect them separately. As you arrive at each slide, press "Show this question" for that quiz on your laptop. Slide five shows your first quiz, slide nine your second.
Present as normal
Advance your deck however you normally do. The tile is built to stay out of the way of your arrow keys and clicker — if they ever stop responding, press Tab, and never Esc, which ends the slide show.

All tiles in one deck share one saved code, so a single deck cannot show two different sessions.
The tile is not tied to the slide it sits on. If you reach a slide without making that question live, the tile still shows the previous one.
PowerPoint Live in Teams does not run add-ins. Presenting remotely through Teams, share the presenter view as a window instead.
If the arrow keys stop advancing your slides, press Tab. Do not press Esc — that ends the slide show.
